My husband spoke to the Manager at Lowes Food on Murrayville Road tonight and he said he is happy to help! We will have use of the Back left quarter of the parking lot by the Condos Starting Tentatively June 12th. Due to the Renovations there will be Big Conex trailers there until the 12 or 15th. We have our choice of days either Tuesday nights or Wednesday nights so I thought We might like to do it Wednesday nights to give options for everyone instead of splitting us up. He knows to expect around 60-70 vehicles at any one time. The rules will be the same as BC. * You must park in a parking space and walk to you buyers. *Pick up cig butts, trash ect. *No unattended children! I will let you know as things Develop!  

I like this meeting place, its so much closer for me to drive from work. I can not do cardinal lanes too far away. 

I'm thinking Wednesday nights would be great that way no one has to choose.

I think Weds. will be perfect. It should be available by the 15th we just have to wait for the remodel to be done. It's so nice that he agreed to help us out! 

This is great! We will be willing to go to Cardinal Lanes every Tuesday because it is close to us & also go to Lowes on the Wednesday that we have enough sales. Thank you, Kelly. B&E Treasures 

That totally works for me. I'm glad you posted this on the underground and hope to see lots of my WYS friends on Wednesday nights at the Lowe's. I will make sure to let the manager there know I appreciate his cooperation! One other thing for anyone going out there - they have a bunch of recycle bins on the Murrayville Road side of the parking lot. If you have items that need to be recycled - bring them when you come to WYS and accomplish two things at one time! Hooray for Kelly getting a place on the north side of town.

Just throwing out a suggestion. It has been pointed out to me by several people that Wednesday is church night for a lot of people. Maybe we should plan our meetings for either Monday or Thursday evenings. What say you all? 

We only have the choice of Tuesday or Wednesday nights unfortunately. However most often church services don't start til 5:30 or 6pm. I am looking into another meeting option but Wednesdays look like it for now.

Thanks Lindy I did forget to mention that. Only pre aranged sales. Carl is familiar with us and what we do and he's being so kind to help so I don't want to do anything wrong. I know everyone is worried about Wednesday's but given we only have the choice between Tuesdays and Wednesdays I think Wednesdays will be perfect. That way anyone who meets at CL can still meet with or buy from us and vice versa.

kelly, i'm glad you have a place and a different day set for those on the north side. this is a good solution. having different days makes it better for all. and we will still be meeting as a group. wys has expanded all over. thanks for doing this.

Kelly I can tell you now that it is not possible to meet in the CBBQ Lot on N.College Road. First the owner would NEVER approve as I have already tried, then after I looked at the lot realized it would be a nightmare as you have LOTS of traffic coming in EVERYDAY from all four locations of egress/exit. You would think that would be better but think about all the buyers and sellers who come in and out at different times and plus the parking lot is divided by concrete parking space barriers. This would mean A LOT of backing up. Plus the owner said because of the ATM you can't have cars 25-50FT on either side "parked". Which if you notice in the lot there really is never any there, maybe a few delivery trucks, that is why the lot seems so perfect. The only reason I know all this is that I too thought about it and looked into it:)Had my meeting with the city and it was uneventful and not much was accomplished other than being refunded our money on the fine and rescinding the citation. (That was good) I was supposed to meet with the person who manages the church property on Gordon Road last week but had to reschedule due to Ian's upcoming surgery but do have a meeting planned for Friday of the coming week. I will keep you informed. Miss you all MUCH and hope to see you soon NO matter where it is:)

We are Lindy. We are Approved to meet at Lowes Food across from Carolina BBQ. It's set for Wednesday nights starting tentatively for June 16th. I will know more about the availability closer to June when they move the conex trailers out of the parking lot. He's fully aware that there could be up words of 60-70 vehicles during our meet he said he was happy to help:)

Bobbi, the Lowe's Foods location should be good for a lot of us except for it being on Wednesday. But we'll take what we can get! I'm in terrible WYS withdrawal! LOL
